  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/4 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 (14.5-ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound paneer, cubed
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • Salt to taste


  1. Heat olive oil in Avias Triply Kadai over medium heat. Add onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic and ginger and cook for 1 minute more.
  3. Stir in cumin, coriander, chili powder, and turmeric. Cook for 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  4. Add tomatoes and water to the Triply Kadai. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Add paneer to the curry and cook for 5 minutes more, until heated through.
  6. Stir in cilantro and salt to taste.
  7. Serve hot over rice or naan.
