Whether you're a seasoned chef or a beginner cook, there are plenty of recipe ideas to make that will impress your significant other.

Here are a few Valentine's Day recipe ideas to get you started:

1. Grilled Potato salad

  • 4 medium sized potatoes, peeled and cut into wedges
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1/4 cup chopped chives
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 2 tablespoons red wine /vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  1. In a large bowl/stainless steel tasla, toss the potatoes with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a stainless steel frypan over medium-high heat. Add the potatoes and cook for 10-12 minutes, or until they are golden brown and tender.
  3. Remove the potatoes from the frypan and transfer them to a large bowl.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together the garlic, parsley, chives, mustard, red wine/ vinegar, and 2 tablespoons of olive oil.
  5. Pour the dressing over the potatoes and toss to combine.
  6. Season with additional salt and pepper, if needed.

If you don’t have a skillet, stainless steel frypans are a great substitute for making grilled potatoes.
